3 to 5 levers on 1 wall.

Post by trancelistic »

Hey guys. I was wondering. How to put multiple levers or buttons on 1 wall. I know I can change a lock height's etc, to make more room for like 3 to 5 locks) But for a simple wall_button it won't work. Not even the height will work. I'm surely missing something here.
Also, it should not be only the height, Also left of right from the wall code I can't find on this fora to make a new random location button or lever on the wall

Any hint for me?
Thanks.

To do this in Grimrock 1, you need to make new models.
Grimrock 1 dungeon
Grimrock 2 resources

Thanks for the reply. So I could put more locks on a wall but not levers and buttons with the basic grimrock editor, short said?

Check out my room in the ORRR2; the auto-smith. That has six levers across 2 walls (three each). Also, my room has buttons on the pillars.

To make your own offset buttons, you will have to use the GMT to position them.
(New models; as minmay stated.)

**It's tricky. You have to line up the static button just right with its animations, or else it will noticeably jump between the two positions when first pressed.

Thanks Isaac. You're a true help as always. ( more detailed help anyhows).|
Guess I have to skip the idea then. I'm not so pro as you guys. I don't even know what GMT is, so yeah. I suck:/

Appriciate the reply from both of you <3

The GMT is the Grimrock Model Toolkit. A veritable boon from John Wordsworth. It's a good tool to have for the LoG 1 & 2 dungeon modder.
It's a model editor; one that that loads and saves in native LoG model format, as well as able to import several standard 3d model and animation formats. (Useful for making new models for Grimrock 1 & 2)
