So can you start a new game with just one character once you beat the game?

One of the devs said it was possible to solo the game in a way that was NOT "kill other 3, play solo". I was guessing this sort of thing unlocks as an option once you beat the game, so can anyone confirm/deny?

It may of course be related to some other secret in the dungeon itself, I was just hoping someone can confirm or deny my theory so I know what to look for.

maybe if you release Toorum's by getting his remains to a crystal it opens him for play. I did release him but so far couldn't find out if is possible

Argh, so I assume it's done through an ingame mechanic, only I have no idea what it is

As I said, one dev confirmed it was possible to play solo.
