but i feel cheated
why didnt it put me back in the dungeon where i had the last fight
was 4 doors i needed to check out and what if i wanted to run back though and see what i missed
I cant now .

Well it makes sense that you can't go back to the dungeon after the ending.
But, if I load my last save it puts me in the room where the boss fight took place. Only the boss is now already dead, but the doors to the upper floors are locked. Thought I could backtrack and find the 10 secrets I missed, but it doesn't look like it.

makes me want more - like now
i gather there is going to be addon packs - as when u starting afresh it has arrows next to grimrock dungeons so more are proberly due to be released.

If you mean the doors in the boss room, it's all single rooms with some loots to help you kill the boss(health pots, lightning rod and lightning bombs)
