Level 3 2 teleporters

Alright this game is very... puzzling and I am unable to figure out certain things. I'm currently stuck at the bit where there's 2 teleporters that rotate around with a hole in the middle and a locked gate at the end. I've been at this for about a day now and still can't figure it out, can anyone help?

The pressure plate over on your left will help

There are 2 pressure plates and you need to throw 2 rocks at them. First is on the left and it will close the middle trapdoor so you can stand on it. Once you can stand on the middle sidestep to the right and throw your second rock at the second pressure plate. Time your shot so you throw it just after the teleporter moves away from the plate. Then immediadly sidestep to the left and run past the door. Hope this helps.

There's only one in the right corner, no where else. And putting the rock on that doesn't work since when the teleporter comes it teleports the rock back.

There should be one in an alcove to the left of the hole in the middle of the room
