How do you open the gear door on level 5 across from the exit gates..

Rest where each dragon statue's gaze meets.

Find the 2 dragon statues. Put a marker on your map for each and note which direction they are facing. Check your map to see where their paths cross. Find that square and rest there for a while. The iron door opens.
