5 levers on level 7

Is there some hint somewhere as how to set these levers. I am thinking they probably open the door in the pit room down the hall. I am not looking for the solution. Just if there is actualy some hint located somehwere how to set them. or if it is just trial and error.

Ok Thanks. I have to play at times with the sound turned down somewhat because of the distance of my computer to the family area. So I was not able to hear those sounds.

yeah understandable. I got some nice headphones helps a lot as you can also hear most of the monsters and figure out what direction they are so I highly recomend a good set of headphones for games like these.
