Does anyone know if the progress of achievements transfers to a new save?
For example: Lets say I've found 49 secrets on my first play-through. I then start a new game and I find a secret which I didn't find the first time around. Would I then get 50 secrets found, or would I have to find 50 on that play-through alone?
I think the counters do. I restarted after hitting level 3 my first try and got some steam achievements earlier then I think would be possible after restarting if they did not count form save to save. I think only the ones that require all of something would not carry over.

In the statistics a new game will have 0/71 secrets found, but I don't know about the achievment, you probably will have to replay the whole thing again.
