For some reason I now have permanent light around my party, which means I don't get the fun times when I'm surrounded by monsters and my light spell runs out, plunging me into darkness! (no really, I love that)

Bit of a spoiler here for those that haven't reached the Maze of Darkness, be warned.

It all happened when I reached the Maze of Darkness. I'd recently cast a light spell, then found the Darkness spell. Great, I thought, this will be very useful in getting through the maze. After a certain period of time, the Darkness spell ran out suddenly and I was bathed in light again. Odd, I thought, perhaps the Darkness spell doesn't last as long as the Light spell. But after that my Light spell never ran out. The only way I can "turn it off" is by casting the Darkness spell. Recasting Light just makes it permanent again.

I'm assuming this is not an intentional side-effect of the Darkness spell, of course.
