Grimrock

Here's my dilemma. I love this game. I just started level 9. I've been doing a good job of not spoiling anything with the exception of a few secrets which I immediately regret doing, and sadly a possible outcome at the end. But mostly pretty minor.

I'm not sure how many levels there are and I don't want to. When I reach the end I want it to be a surprise. I know it's approaching but I don't want to know when.

The problem is this. Having been a somewhat recreation young whippersnapper back in my younger years i used to partake frequently in some mind enhancing substances. I love how chalk full of atmosphere this game is. You can hear the enemies roaming around when they're near by, but still not close enough to see. The lighting in the dungeon is great. The sounds are all amazing.

Lately I can't help but want to try this game.... mind enhanced ;D as I know i'll just get even more into it. But I won't be able to get my hands on any mind enhancers till this Sunday and I really don't want to beat it before I do. Doing it on a replay wouldn't have the same impact. I wanna not know what's coming.
I really wanna do one, maybe even 2 more levels. Level 9. I would like you the Grimrock Veteran to let me know if I can do this and still have at least 1 full level left to explore?

The number of levels isn't related to the end of the game exactly because of the up and down nature.

Not sure what you're asking, but the number of levels in the game is (and I'm telling you here, be warned):

Do drugs, then fight spiders.

Then never do drugs or play Legend of Grimrock again, and recoil in terror from spiders for the rest of your life.

Sounds like a recipe for fun to me!

Hahaha I have a pet spider in the corner of my ceiling. I fear the spiders not!

ps. I didn't click the spoiler. I don't want to know how many levels there are. It doesn't matter. I'm just going to play. If drugs are obtained before beating the game then great. If not, oh well!
