A video can explain much faster than words.
Is there any chance for the editor to be as basic and easy to use as this or trackmania editors?
You open a new map, it opens a parchment map screen (similar to the in game map) with 32x32 grid, you choose your tileset, background music or sound (if there is any persistent one that is) from check boxes on the side
Then you click the tiles which you want to be empty
After that you "enter" empty default tunnels and "paint" them with selected pre-made wall / celling / floor tiles.
When the walls are painted, you switch to an isometric view so that it's easier to place columns and such
Lastly you tie the pre-packed triggers in tiles (altars, switches, torch rings and so on) to objects using an interface similar to terraria's red wiring interface

Voila; Even a complete programming illiterate like me can build nice levels and make this game even bigger!

Is there a chance for getting such a practical but basic level editor for this incredible game?

I'm sure that whatever they release will be satisfying.

I don't see why it can't be as simple as that - the various Dungeon Master (and similar game) editors such as the excellent Return to Chaos just allow you to draw the levels onto the grid. Stocking with monsters and equipment is as easy as selecting them from a palette. The complexity comes with intricate puzzles that need triggers/timers/etc. but you can always start off simple and get more complex as you get used to how the editor works.
