If you know of this game cool, if not, read the wiki please. It'll only take a minute.
Basically a good chunk of the monsters are there already in LoG. So, I'm wanting to do a themed dungeon or at least a floor based loosely on this game.
I plan on having crazy messages everywhere, an item I'll call the Darklord/Overlord's treasure or something like that the end of the dungeon you have to bring back to the beginning to complete it, and a few other things to give the feeling of the badman series.
I'm just wondering if the monsters in LoG fight eachother? I haven't personally witnessed it yet so I assume no but I could be wrong.
I think I'll use;
Firewraiths in place of the succubi
Ogres as ogres
Bugs as bugs
Oozes as oozes
Skeletons as skeletons
I havent beaten LoG at the time of this posting si I do not have an analog for dragons, golems, flying bugs, or wisps/spirits.

If I knew that going in, I wouldn't play the mod. Backtracking sucks.

I'm talking a 1-5 level dungeon at most. and if you pay attention, you backtrack in LoG plenty, and they manage to put more obstacles in your way from previously closed monster closets.
I haven't beaten the game yet, is there more slime colours?

The backtracking they make you do is 'go down hallway, clear room, go back to split in hallway you came down'. The most backtracking in the game took place on level 10 or 11, but it all made sense, and was simply that 'go a different way in the hallway' stuff.

So you noticed that one spot you could interact with on the first pass? the one that you find a note pointing you to on the level below it? The note I speak of is on the other side of a set of bars in that room with the spider setting off lightening balls at random wit hevery step. I believe it is known as lair of the dismantler or vault of the dismantler.
In either case this discussion has inspired me to make a metroidvania inspired dungeon... totally going to have ppl grab a key 4 floors down. Come back up to floor 1 then go open a door to stairs to a short staircase down to level 5 and so on.

I''ll call it Patchs dungeon!

I will not sign off on the use of my name for such a map. I'll send you a C&D.
