Suggestion about simple cosmetic "problem"

Post by Dynosaulo »

Um, I have a suggestion to make, but I don't know where to post it. So I'll just leave it here and if anyone knows where it should be, please let me know.

It's about the stairs in the game. It's no big deal actually, but I think it would make more sense.

I started my first playthrough of the game on "old school mode". When I found the first set of stairs and got another sheet of graph paper to start drawing the second level, I didn't know where to put the stairs indicator. All I knew was that it wasn't supposed to be directly underneath the one in the first level, becauses looking at the stairs, it seems like it would take at least 2 or 3 blocks. Only when I fell into a pit I did find out that the stairs actually lead directly down, despite the fact that they seem to lead you also 2 or 3 blocks forward.

So, my suggestion is:
Maybe if you changed the stairs so they had a curve on the second block... that way they would pass as sets of "spiral stairs" and make more sense. Just make it so they always go down clockwise, for instance, so it's easier to implement.

Anyway, as I said, no big deal... It's just something I've noticed.

I hope I could get my point through with my poor English though. :D
