Request to the devs

Post by Thkya »

Don't read if you haven't completed the game, it's not really a spoiler but still.
SpoilerShow
Is it at all possible for us players once completed the game to obtain the artwork that is displayed of the characters escaping and the mountain blowing up and the big crater etc? It was beautiful :) Would really like them to select as a desktop background. If this is already possible, please let me know, I have checked in the folders but I didn't come across them.

Thank you!

P.s. Enjoyed your game very much, well done!

Well if you are running through Steam it already has a built in screenshot facility if not you will need an independent programs like Fraps.

Couldn't it just be made easy and like a downloadable for completing the game? It's such awesome artwork!

I really like them too, Juho did a terrific job creating very dramatic scenes. These may not be suitable as they are 1024x768 (my screen resolution) but they are all here from the end sequence if you are interested:

Anyway you could obtain them for laptop 1366x768? :) Probably wishful thinking, did you just take screenshots of them?

Sadly that is my maximum screen resolution, you could use the print screen key to take them individually and paste into a image editor, 3rd party screenshot software or add LoG as a non Steam game and use that to take them like Darklord suggested. It doesn't take long and I think its worth it.

Will do but it will involve completing the final part of the game again, which is where my save was.
Definitely worth it, cheers.

Oh - I didn't think about that part, sorry. I made this save for you, the boss has been neutralised and you just have to wait where you are for a few seconds for the end screens to start.

I'm planning on doing huge art dump (something like "Art of Legend of Grimrock") in the Creative Corner some time in the near future. But I'd like to wait a bit that people get to play the game through before putting out spoilerish images. I'll include end sequence images there too.
