Grimrock

Really enjoyed game, but now, almost at the end I seem to be really stuck. Got 3 pieces of machinery loaded and can't find 4th. Saw an earlier post saying it is a "conductor", but ive searched lvl 12 and 13 for hours (all monsters killed days ago) and found nothing called a conductor and nothing else left on the floors that I can even pick up and try in fourth slot. Can you help?

If I remember correctly, one of the pieces is in an alcove in a wall (not on the floor like the other pieces).
I've also found that it helps to take the pieces you've found and put them all in one place.

Thanks. Really helpful. I was searching all over for a new piece "a conductor", but when I saw your lists realised I had already found it days earlier. Question then was were had I put it and I found it by mousing over the bottoms of each of the cube sides already finished. Somehow it was not showing on the screen, but the mouse found it at the foot of one of the sides. Finished! Thanks again.
