Grimrock

Hey folks - just purchased the game via Steam and have found it will not even start. I have some suspicion it is something to do with My Documents being re-directed to a server - does anyone know if the game supports My Documents redirection? Works great for all other games as I get my save games backed up and they are available from any PC I log on to.

Also - is there any way to get an error log created on startup to see what my error may be and assist in troubleshooting?

Redirected documents folder is indeed likely to cause this issue.

To workaround the issue you can manually create a file called "grimrock.cfg" in "Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock" folder. The file should contain these lines:

(when the game starts you probably want to edit the settings in game's options panel)

We'll look into fixing this issue with the next patch.

This suggestion solved my problem as well. If devs need help testing the issue for a future release, I'm on a AD domain at home with folder redirection.
