I'm playing LoG and I learnt to feed prisoners only if they are totally out of HP or he is a mage.
And now I discover, that mage has absolutely the most XP and a minotaur (expert on starving) has least XP.
It's just a coincidence?

I assume that this is coincidence.
The mage always hits with his spells and therefore always receives the full XP for any creature he used his spells on.
The slow and inaccurate Minotaur as a fighter sometimes to way too often misses the target and only receives 50% of the XP, if he did not hit once at least.
During my first play-through I really had some trouble keeping the minotaur at least on the level of my human fighter - and not because of starvation, but because of the inferior fighting abilities. Meanwhile my mage gathered most of the XP.

What might be a point - as well - ist a specific item, a necklace earning you a 25% in experience points gain. This one I gave my mage; do you have it on your party and maybe on your mage as well?

I may be wrong. But from what I have learned so far about the game, starvation is not linked to gaining experience. Starvation only effects your mana- and hitpoint-recovery.

You point of almost all my stereotype. It's right that minotaur with mace have too many misses and mage wear a necklace...

And yes, LoG is tricky. I just passed Goromorg I the second time. And it gave me similar headache as with the first time.

Do you play the default-party like I did on my first play-through?
