Why I hate Steam....

Okay, so i get all excited about the new LoG 1.2.10 release.....I shut down to update and Steam goes 'pop'.......WTF FFS Aaaaaaahhhhhh 
????
I just exited and restarted Steam, and it updated Grimrock immediately, just like the last three updates
