Dark Souls comes to PC

Now it's apparently official: This August, fan-favourite action RPG
Dark Souls makes the transition from console to PC, with a wee bit of additional content to boot, as
Rock, Paper, Shotgun report. Well, I'm a huge fan of the
Souls franchise, having both the PS3 exclusive
Demon's Souls and its recent sequel in my shelf and not willing to give them away anytime soon. While the PC port doesn't really concern me per se, I really hope it's handled properly (unlike most console-to-PC ports out there), especially as far as online play is concerned. This game deserves the good shit.

I am really concerned about controlls on keyboard and mouse. Hope they dont screw this

I'm super-excited for this, but I'll wait for the official word from Bamco/FROM before I fistpump and yell out "HELL YEAH!"

Same here. Also I am also not entirely sold on the awesomeness of that game. I guess I'll see soon enough.

From software are the reason why I got a playstation when it first came out. They are one of the few game devs out there that can effortlessly glide between starkly different genres! (Armored Core, Kings Field, and the tenchu series) And I loves me some JRPGS! Too many don't make it to the PC as it is, well, save for emulation that is...

my husband is excited about this game but he doesn't want to play it... he wants to watch me play it haha. these kinds of games scare him
but i'm excited about it too

I might get it and play it with my Xbox controller on my couch across the room. That way when I fail there aren't bits of computer everywhere.
