Grimrock

I'm trying to get the Orb of Radiance. I grab it and the giant crabs kill me before I can get out of the hallway. There is no place for me to hide or get around them. Is there any weapons that work better than others. Thanks for any help

that is indeed one of the more difficult spots in the game. one option is to come back after gaining a couple more levels or so. if you fight now, I suggest running back as fast as you can and kill one crab head on, no dancing, using a couple healing potions on your front guys if you need it. the dance around the second crab without taking hits.

You need to be aware of what is happening when you grab the orb:
- the wall which you opened earlier to get into this area closes again
- 2 crabs are spawned there.

Since there is not enough room to dance with both crabs at once you can EITHER tank and kill one of them so you can dance it out with the second crab OR you somehow manage to get back to this areas entrance, re-open that closed wall by pushing the hidden button and then deal with both crabs in the large hall.

it's not possible to open up and use hall for both crabs, they spawn in the way and will not make an opening to get past - you have to kill one first

I am not aware of any special weaknesses or immunities crabs have, so just use your strongest weapons/spells.

Strongest weapons and spells of course, as you always should. If things are tough add in Frostbolt spell when you got an Ice Mage or Frost Bombs to freeze the crabs and buy more time.

If you got an Air Mage you can try to run for escape with Invisibility. It's not easy and took me a few tries but i was able to manage it.
