Hello all,
is there a way yet to make a new character class with new skills? I want to make a cleric class. His skills would be maces, armors, spellcraft, staves, holy magic, athletics.
He would be the only one whose could use healing spells and so forth. He could use heavy armor or cloth armor depending on the player choices.
Thx,
LG

As far as I know, traits and game effects are still hard coded. If we're lucky, the devs are working on breaking it down for us. We can only hope :3

Skills are just numbers the player understand, because a text describes it. So if we get the chance to rename it, we get the chance to create own skills, classes and so on. That would be nice
But for all I now, not possible yet.
Everything else scripts do, can be alterated by script, items, etc.

*Except experience gain, cool down rate, Orb of Radiance glow, couple other things.
EDIT: I just discovered something very neat. If you want an item to have a glow, you will have to give it the name = "magic_orb",
For instance, lets say you define a new sword. You call it magic_orb, but use what ever uiName you want, and to the player it will just be a glowing sword of whatever uiName you gave it.
NOTE: If you do this, you will no longer have the base magic_orb to play with.

I don't have any idea to realise the cooldown of weapons manipulation, but the lightsource and expierence things sound possible(with a lot of work)
