I can't get the scrambleText to work. I tried a few different items, no text at all. Even the machine parts, which had the effect in the main game, don't display their text.

I thought I played a mod that had it too. Anyone?

I too, played the mod that used it. I think it was one of the first 2 example mods they released with the Beta editor. I think I NEVER made it out of the first room, and learned a lesson for hotel hades. FIRST ROOM=EASY. never even tried again, tragic.

I would be interested in some method to trigger that text, even just to repeat the exact same lines as the original

But it's in the asset definition reference under item:

scrambleText: text that is display using the scramble text effect in the tooltip.

So it's either broken or I'm missing something or my editor is bugged. Plus, both myself & msy remember that a modder used it. The one above it, gameEffect, works fine.
