Correct labelled gfxAtlas 1024x1024

Post by Fhizban »

good evening all (or whatever time it is in your time zone),

I was so bored creating, testing and balancing loot tables that i took a break and made a simple but effective gfxAtlas template. You find the file in my dropbox and can use it for any 1024x1024 item icon atlas. just put it into the background layer (of your graphic program like photoshop or gimp) and delete it before you export your icons. its not a beauty - but it works.

hope this helps solving the many gfxAtlas problems we are having here lately. grimrock always uses the index numbers shown in my template, no matter how big your gfxAtlas actually is (well this isn't fully true as my wizardry 8 item icons work perfectly with 512x512 - but i have not figured out yet. its proven that 1024x1024 item textures work in any case though).

IMPORTANT: You have to use the download button, do NOT download the preview image as it will be incorrect size. check your downloaded image to be 1024x1024 pixels (this is a little, tricky dropbox issue)
