I don't know if anyone has heard of Dungeon Master JAVA. Was a very nice clone of the original with some nice hi res textures. Reason I'm mentioning it is cause if these developers want a great editor to go by, they should really check that one out. It was fairly easy to learn and use, and it covers just about everything. I created a 23 level dungeon from that about 5 years back and also each level was alot larger then the originals. The puzzles and difficulties i created were a hell of a challenge even for myself. One thing i love about this editor is i could add extra monsters, Items, Weapons, Armours, you can change just about anything you wish in it. Including changing monster stats and weapon stats itself. Pretty much anything. Created mana potions that multiply your current mana by x2, x3 even x4. really helps in some situations. Made vendors at points, certain safe zones where you could spawn monsters for food as you like and refill water. I love using that editor. I just hope the one they create has alot of the same options and flexability. Even made one level that was HUGE hallways and it was filled with nothing but Dragons. Which course not just RED dragons in mine, also have Green, Gold and Black being the worst to encounter. I also like setting up fire traps which you can activate with coins to aid you in some areas. Things i did and added were fun. Would take you weeks to finish this dungeon.
I'm looking forward to the editor.
I also kinda wish they left the Water BAR in as well as the FOOD. Just gave ya more to keep a supply of. Suppose it doesn't matter though.
Also one unique idea i did was you start from a few choices of only 1 character at first. They have different advantages and dissadvantages. One of the three may start with a really good weapon but not much of anything esle, where as another has a CHEST and FLASK. As you venture down, you must find a crystal and then find the area with the second bunch of characters that the crystal unlocks. Same with the third, and then the fourth. Plus i often like making it where you do need to check alot of PITS because alot of them hold treasures and secrets but also deadly traps as well. Oh gosh i have had quite the imagination for this game. But i played Dungeon Master back in the AMIGA days, as well as CHAOS STRIKES BACK, and i played all the EYE of the BEHOLDER GAMES.
Good idea of an Editor to follow.

Editor will be cool! Personally I like the Amiga version of DM.
