Can not write descripton or save names (Linux - Ubuntu)

Can not write descripton or save names (Linux - Ubuntu)

Hello
I bought the today from ubuntu software center and I am not able to write descripton on the map markers. Also when I save I can't wirte name for the savegame.

Using Ubuntu 12.10 64bit. driver=i915

we can't write descriptions for map markers either, so that's not just Linux version
