Grimrock

So, I can hear the sounds, I can move around, I can even see the interface but otherwise the screen is black. Save for the torches. Torches are visible. To be more exact, the flames on the torches are visible.

I took a torch and put it in the hand of one of my chars but still no light. I assume it's not expected? Unless I'm a complete noob and I need to make light somehow. It's pitch black. No contours or anything like that. Just blackness.

Help?

HD 6970, Catalyst 12.3, 64-bit Win-7, 2500K

I also have this problem. Been reinstalling drivers, the game and stuff to try and get it to work.
I'm assuming others have this problem too?

Turn off your anti-aliasing.

I also have the same problem, and am also using Windows 7 64 and a 6900 series ATI card like the OP.

This did the job, thanks. I had the Catalyst software set to override application settings.

Awesome, thanks. It worked. Had to change "override application settings" in Catalyst Contol Center (Gaming -> 3D Application Settings -> Anti-Aliasing -> Use application settings.

This. Turns out my graphics software, catalyst control center in this case, was trying to force it.
