Perhaps the question was asked, but I have not found.

Is it possible to have the original vanilla games in the editor?

If you mean the default Grimrock dungeon you get if you just start a new game, the answer unfortunately is a "no". The default dungeon was created before we had the dungeon editor (we did the levels with a text editor ourselves ), so the dungeon is incompatible with the editor.

However, I believe that our forums moderator Komag is working on a faithful conversion of the original dungeon which should be ready quite soon I believe!

yeah it's finished! So is the revamped version I call the "Master Quest", just in testing now, full release of both probably within a week or two

Wow, so you basically wrote out the Dungeon.LUA (along with all of the definitions, of course) that the editor provides for everything in Grimrock? That must have been painstaking. Thanks for making it so much easier on us! haha
