Hi,
I recently purchased LoG through the Ubuntu Software Centre, however I am using this nasty Netbook that only has 1GB of RAM and maximum resolution of 600 pixels high - it just flashes when opening and does nothing but exit. How on earth do I find a download link so I can install on my iMac instead?

I'm not too sure about how the Ubuntu Software Centre works, but did you get a game key when you bought it? If you did, you can install the Steam client on your mac then see if you can activate the game through Steam.

I think you're going to have trouble playing Grimrock on that computer anyway.
Dr.Disaster wrote:The game menus do not scale so to display them completly they require a minimum screen/window height. Due to this the graphic options do not offer resolutions with a height below 700 pixel.
And min specs:
Minimum:
OS:Windows XP Service Pack 3
Processor:Dual Core 2GHz Intel or 2.8GHz AMD
Memory:2 GB RAM
Graphics:ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or better (256MB graphics memory or more. Shader Model 3.0 needs to be supported). Minimum supported resolutions 1280x720 and 1024x768.
DirectX®:9.0c
Hard Drive:1 GB HD space
Sound:DirectX 9.0c compatible

You can play LoG on resolutions below minimum spec BUT to do this you need to manually edit the "grimrock.cfg" file. Still you need to be aware that while the game itself works you will encounter problems with the menus because they are made for larger resolutions.

Well, please keep nagging with this problem... the missing capability for complete resolution independent rendering has catched many people already...e.g. non-standard multimontor setups ;P (

Also, please report bugs here:

If it were "many" it would have been modified ages ago.
