Lost stars in lvl 9

I've lost my throwing stars in level 9. I've looked everywhere for them but can't find them anywhere!

What could have happened here? I've checked every corner of the level and I'm baffled.
I know there are respawning enemies in level 9. Could it be that I threw the stars into an enemy, failed to kill it, and it then wondered off outside of lvl9 with my stars embedded in it?

I've uploaded my savegame here if anyone wants to have a look :)

I don't want to roll back to an earlier save because I've spent over an hour battling the respawners in level 9 to get through, and then another hour battling them while I was looking for the stars!

why dont you activate the console and spawn the stars you have lost... :?: (u can search on the forum how to do that)

Thats faster and you can manage on your own.

You can disable console after so that you are back to normal :)

This is not explaining what happened but you are no longer blocked....
