Grimrock

When launching the game from Steam, the game icon appears in my dock and bounces for about a minute before ceasing and sitting on the dock without the glowing "application is running" beacon under it. Right-clicking it at any time shows that the application is not responding and I have to Force Quit it.

The first time I ran the game, it worked fine; I played a couple levels of the dungeon and then quit to try the dungeon editor, which also worked fine. I quit that via the menu bar. That was last night. I've tried deleting the grimlock.cfg file as recommended in other posts, and also tried deleting and reinstalling LoG from Steam. Any other suggestions?

Running Mac OS X 10.8 on a 2011 MacBook Pro. Any additional information can be provided if necessary.

On a whim I tried quitting out of Steam while the program was launching; this allowed it to start right up. Restarting Steam did not again prevent the launch. Not sure if this is a bug or what but if there are future problems I'll post them. Should be noted that I was launching directly into fullscreen mode.

Could have been a problem with / a hang of the steam game overlay user interface.
