I know that in 2 days game gonna be released, but what about implement such a option as a patch or dlc ? To play with reroll dungeons - i mean you can choose when you start new game to reroll dungeons and get diffrent dungeons, it gives some reason to come back to game to play more and more. I know it can be tough to do, but well some HnS games offers something like that, and in dc game it gonna be awesome, with no map its gonna be extremely tough to play again even if know game very well

I'm pretty sure they've said it'd be easier to MAKE randomly generated dungeons, but don't think they said anything about including them themselves.

This could surely be a mod at some point. It's already possible in LoG1 to script a randomized Dungeon Hack.... but in practice Dungeon Hack wasn't that fun after a while. It's not the same accomplishment to slog through a random-Rogue-like dungeon, as it is to puzzle one's way to the end of a custom tailored campaign.

It could still be an neat optional mode though. Even DungeonKeeper2 had a free-play sandbox mode for after you'd beat the game... but then... that's what the editor is no?

I think a Dungeon Randomizer would be great for after you have beat the game.

That way you can make a whole new party, and just go through and play with the characters, because you have already beat the game once. So why go through and do all the same puzzles all over again, when maybe all you want to do is do some hack and slash, raise levels, skills, and see what new things these skills and magics do.

By implementing a Dungeon Randomizer you end up with a generic rogue-like as was Dungeon Hack and i can tell from my very own experience with the original Dungeon Hack - it's still sitting here on my game box shelf - that this kind of dungeon game get's boring very very fast.

LoG was and is not about hack and slash. You can goto LoG1 steam workshop right away, pick any combat-heavy puzzle-free mod and see for yourself how much fun you get out of this.

I agree, the mod dungeons will serve the idea of "random dungeons" - and I get some people will get bored of hack and slash.

But I personally would love to eventually level characters probably beyond what the game will allow me (as in, I'd probably finish the game before I have maxed out my characters), and seeing what skills/feats and spells do when unlocked would be nice.

So yes, mods will do that. And I will be more than happy to load those up! But was thinking if there was a quick "randomizer" built in, you could just hit - crawl a dungeon for 30 minutes, while you're waiting for your wife to find out what she's going to wear to dinner tonight...

Not that I speak from experience.

That makes two of us. ;)
I wonder who else here has a boxed copy of Dungeon Hack on their shelf?
(Mine is the 3½ version.)

And just think... That's around $64 in today's money. Dungeon Hack sold for about what Skyrim sells for.
