I preordered LOG II through the Humble Store and I just unlocked the game on my steam account but it won't start downloading until noon here (EST). Am I mistaken in thinking there was also going to be a standalone .exe installer which is DRM-free and didn't require steam to download? The same way LOG had a 600+ MB executable installer before I could transfer it over to steam.

I thought I read that there would be a separate installer so you could play without steam but my email only has the link to unlock it in the Humble Bundle and at the HB site I only have the option to generate the key for steam which was successful. Is the standalone installer coming from Humble Bundle or some other place? I'm sure this has been mentioned a few times but I can't seem to find the answer.

Yes, a DRM-free standalone installer will be included and it will come from Humble Bundle. All you need to do is to revisit your link (the place where you can claim the Steam key from) when the game is released a few hours from now and you can then download the installer.

I gues there is, becouse there are LP on youtube with few hours of playing

so there must be standalone version, but you just pay for game so you must wait and watch the game on youtube, or wait and be angry cos people who dont pay may watch the game right now...

I'm fairly certain those are legit: we've given Steam keys to some youtubers
