just note - When you start game with unused skill points they are all lost. In LOG1 player still had chance to redistribute it. I do not say it is bug, but probably something worthy to fix in future patches

This is by design for those players who want the extra challenge and start without skills.

Could you add a warning/confirmation to that? It's liable to catch people out who start the game figuring that they'll assign their points once they've found gear to use them with.

Already covered then! I hadn't tried doing it myself yet (because I'm still trying to settle on a party), but saved skill point starts have been something of a habit for me.

Argh! This one got me. I wanted to wait to see what I'd find in the beginning of the game before putting points in things.

I saw the warning, but I didn't take that to mean that I'd lose my unassigned skillpoints. I think the message should be more clear. Just warning you that they have not been assigned doesn't necessarily imply they can't be used once you are in the game, or at level-up.

I think I'm going to start over. Luckily I'm only level 2.

That doesn't imply they will be lost though. Something like "Your unused skill points will be lost. . Start the game anyway?" would probably be better .

And while you're at it you could also prevent stupid players from finishing character creation without naming their characters. Once I forgot to name my Minotaur and he (obviously) had no name afterwards. Totally my fault, but if it would be easy to implement...

Hehe! Got me as well... I just assumed it would be the same as Grimrock 1
