Dual wield damage

How does the dual wield damage formula works? assuming a rogue as well ( 25% penalty instead of 40% penalty).

Before and after max light weapons.

OK, instead of 100% weapons damage you have 2 attacks of 75% (60% if not rogue) damage.

Now, with maxed light weapons instead of 200% you deal 2 attacks of 175% (160% if not rogue) or 25%/40% penalty to total which means 2 attacks of 150% (120% if not rogue)?

Also, does the damage formula apply before or after strength and dexterity are calculated? So at max will you get double effect from strength / dexterity or unaffected?

Good and interresting questions.
Also I have seen in another post that the Rogue bonus on dual weapons do not apply on strength based weapons.

The penalty is total per weapon, no matter what light weapons skill level, strength or dexterity you got.

Looks like this will be addressed somewhat in the new patch, too, where some values weren't being calculated right.

To be frank, I'm disappointed about this skill and the way it's performed.
I know every weapon has different cold-down to strike again.
Technically it's not dual attack at all, not to mention the penalty.
Why we have to click twice instead of one?? There must be a way to remedy it.

The skill allowes you to "Dual Wield". Any "Dual Attack" has to be done by you clicking both weapons and that's fine as it is.

I like it a lot, because you have an additional attack in your round of attacks to keep an enemy stunned. When timed right, its a beautiful thing ;)

In the eye of the beholder you also used to click both weapons in order to dual attack.

Sorry I am bad at explaining things maybe.
In most of the game Dual-Wielding means we could attack twice in a single move.
At first I'm so excited and shocked about this ability, dual-wielding in LOG2, fantastic!!
Literally yes it dual-wielding two weapons at the same time but not the attack.
What I expected is not to click both instead of clicking any of it to do the trick.
Due to cool-down, we can't attack twice in every turn, unless we choose holding two identical cool-down weapons.
Some monsters moves so fast that we can't focus on which weapon is ready to kill.
My opinion, as a whole, it's just like holding a single weapon with penalty.
And what about the outcome, I got distracted and few blows for free in battles.
What's the benefit from this skill, really don't have a clue.
But I'll give it a go to use two weapons without cool-down issues.
If it turns out like cream on the top, couldn't image this skill plus backstabing, what a monster.
