Grimrock 2 Mac

I just found out, theres no Grimrock2 for Mac. Wow, am I pissed.

I loved the first Part and as it was available for Mac from the Start, I totally figured, there would be 2 for Mac, too. And fuck Wine, no one plays a game in Wine (at least not me). Also, fuck a Refund. Fuck these 20 Dollars. I just want to tell you, that I am totally, enormously pissed. I feel betrayed, as this was never made clearly clear before (and not in some Sentence after 8 Paragraphs of PR-Crap).

The thing is, I will not check back, if there is a mac-version maybe in a few months. As you haven't adressed this issue in your Blog (I read the RSS-Feed), I guess you'll never adress a future Mac-Version there too, so I'll miss it. Again: I feel betrayed. Also: I guess, given todays attention-span-cycle, and that I've got other shit to do besides your wonderful game, I'll forget about this issue tomorrow and in a week won't even be reminded, that GR2 exists.

The most I do regret, that I wrote a long and glowing Blog-Article about GR2 a few weeks ago, gave you unpaid Advertising, loved your game from the start and you guys totally screwed me over.

Did I say it? I'm pissed. Very. :(

It was not. LoG1 for Mac came 1 year after the original release.
Future ports of LoG2 have been adressed by the developers. As soon as the Windows version can be considered bug-free they will consider ports.

Reads system requirements...

"Minimum OS: Windows XP"

That was hard?

Install wine, use parallels or bootcamp.

Ofcourse not, and I know it's my very own fault. Still pissed, though. I'm installing Wine now, but I hate Grimrock for making me fool around with the Command Line.

If you get it running on a Mac via Wine please let me know how because I cannot even get my GoG version to install into a wrapper.

Hello!

Check out the other thread about Mac and Wine (Mac Wine Compatability). I used WineBottler and got the game running on a MacBook Pro without much effort. No fiddling with terminal commands or such, just a simple wizard.
