I could have sworn that certain landmarks, like the big ship in the middle of Shipwreck Beach, used to appear on my map. Now they don't, and that space looks empty and traversable on the map. Am I just misremembering, or did something change? Thanks in advance and sorry if my brain just made this up.

They definitely were there and are now gone on my game as well, it's making it hard to remember where to go sometimes because I am a very visual person.

Are you playing with latest beta or the release version?

I'm playing with the release version.

I have the steam version, but it's the 2.1.9 and I can confirm that the ship/blocked area no longer appears - it's all clear squares.

This is really strange. I'm unable to reproduce the problem here so fixing this will be very hard.

Could you link to a save game that has this problem?

Whoa, oh really, I have never seen any 'landmark' shipwreck, it has always been like in the screenshot. Or am I just understanding something wrong?

I did some testing and it seems some map icons disappear when you load a save. The ship is one, the cage on the beach is another, the stairs to the catacombs in the cemetery might be yet another. I'm running 2.1.9.

I reproduced it by starting a default party on easy, running to the stranded ship, saving the game then loading that save without going to the main menu in between. The ship icon is now gone, aswell as the cage icon.

Never mind, I just noticed that this bug has already been reported in this thread.

I haven't encountered this particular bug, but there's a dungeon entrance that the game doesn't mark with a "stairs down" icon on my automap: I can upload a savegame if you can't reproduce this bug.
