Don't do it while fighting Undead .. unless you're looking for the best way to kill yourself
I really like those little LoG2 special effect. Always something new to discover

I didn't obtain that weapon until the cemetery was the only place I had left to clear before the castle, so if anything that special move was a detriment to me... (because basically every enemy there is undead). It even gives the weapon to you in the cemetery like they want you to end up using it on the undead.

Backbiter is available very early in the game, to be exact behind the very first gold lock.
It's a bit of a shock when a charged up Backbiter's critical backstab backfires into a one-hit-selfkill

did that same thing in the cemetery. wanted to top my rogue off and leeched and he was almost dead.
took me a minute to realize what had happened. then I smiled... good design there

I did it with my battlemage using the bone blade. It wasn't so bad. But definitely a nice little detail.

When I first used the Backbiter's "Leech" ability, I thought
"wouldn't it be cool if using it on undeads reversed the flow of life energy?", but I never tried it on them. Great to see that AH have already implemented this!
