hidden shrine?

OK, everything is done but the castle.

where is the hidden shrine so I can make the 5th element?

I see cryptic clues around the hamlet and crystal mine, but either can't find the right area, or am not using the right spell.

I think maybe I need to get the last gem from the castle boss first.

Yeah that's where you get the last gem. As for the shrine... its location is rather lame.

Just outside of the castle, stand in the middle of the four essences and cast balance spell (the middle rune).

The 5th shrine was such a let down for me because one of the hints said it was hidden from sight, then in the castle you get a map of the island, one of the areas (which you can't get to cause it isn't part of the game) is called something with 'mist' in the name. So I thought the mist would be hiding it from sight.

Also, if you look where the 4 shrines are, and put the 5th shrine in the mist area, it would basically make an X (one in each corner of the map and one in the middle). Plus, the mist zone looks small, which would make sense that they wouldn't do a huge zone for nothing more than a shrine since I already had all the power gems. then I find out you just use the balance spell in that one spot... such a let down lol...

Yeah it was pretty clever, I just got all excited for the misty zone though lol

I thought it was a very nice puzzle. It reminded me of the Ultima games.
