altar of water

Post by Remuz »

Hi,

I have all the gems I need to make my 4th essence and enter the castle.

As far as I know, I have explored all the maps that I could reach, but could not find the altar of water. Could you please tell me where I can find it?

List of areas cleared, in no particular order :
SpoilerShow
Twigroot tunnels
Twigroot forest
Crystal mine (Entrance, Core, Abyss)
Wormbound Catacombs
Oruls's crypt
Herde's den
Sewers
Archives
Keelbreach's bog
Forgotten river
Sleet islend
Cemetery
Ruins of Desarune
Hamlet of Stormbreach

Also I am a bit worried that after this, I should have 3 gems left (with the last one in castle), while I will have only 1 left after that. I strongly suspect that I missed a few areas.

Thanks!

Center of Sleet Island next to the flooded dungeon. You need to activate the light bridge to get there. By the sounds of it, you haven't done the pyramid and the desert.

Thank you for your answers. It could

create the 4th orb, enter the castle and beat lindworm on top of it
However, the flooded dungeon was very disappointing, as I could only access the vault, and nothing beyond that. This dungeon looks tiny, compared to others.
From outside that dungeon, I could not spot anything interesting.

So, I still do not know how to reach the pyramid and desert zones. Any hint on that, please?

You need a special item to enter the pyramid. Usually you already found an item that reminds you of the pyramid.

Do you mean the ring on a string? That is the only item which looked special, but it does not really remind me of a pyramid.

Flooded dungeon was great, I ran as soon as I saw the swimming things and never went back until later (even though I read vault), so it successfully scared me off... on a replay it is the first place to go.

I found the leprechaun bridge early as I was playing shooting the serpent staff across the water to see the reflection in the water at night in front of "..." by accident. Very funny when he ran across, I thought I had hit something with the staff, lol.
