Water Rendering Issue

Hi

I've just started using the dungeon editor and trying to add water in my dungeon.

I used the tutorial below but when I add water its not being rendered properly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVpY60Ptjdk

I've used the dungeon_floor for the room with floor elevation 0 and ceiling elevation 5. Then I painted a ditch with floor elevation -1 and ceiling elevation 5 and finally painted the ditch with dungeon_floor_water using the same elevations. Everything is working fine at this point and water functions correctly.

The problem starts when I add the water_surface_underground entity in the map. When I refresh the game the water surface is completely black and there is no transparency like in the video tutorial.

Also if I now go into the water, everything looks fine under the surface but the environment is not being rendered above the surface like in the video tutorial.

Finally, when I paint a reflection layer and refresh the game, I do get a reflection on the surface but its not the correct reflection of the environment.

I've installed LOG2 with directx, updated my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760) drivers and set all graphics setting to high but it still doesn't work.

Please can someone help me to fix this?

After placing the water_surface assets on top of the reflections it works fine with my GTX 760 as long as i toggle fullscreen for the preview.

Thanks for the quick reply Dr.Disaster

That has fixed my problem and water now renders properly if I switch to full screen preview.

Its a bit strange it doesn't preview correctly in the editor window but not a big deal.

The ocean also looks weird in the small preview
