Problems with my first DAGGER. Help me, pls!

Ok, i've a very stupid problem.

I have an Human Rogue LV.4 with 6 points on DAGGER ability, and I have equipped the first dagger in the game, +5 accuracy +7 attack power and I have this problem:
Everytime i try to attack an enemy, it miss the shot, showing me the "can't reach" message. So.. i don't think it's a bug... but i think that i definitively miss something here, for sure.

Someone can help me, please? How to use dagger?

Your rogue is obviously in the back row and has not learned how to "Reach Attack" with melee weapons from there.

You can either
- move your rogue to the front so he can attack with his dagger
or
- teach him Reach Attack from the Assassination skill tree which costs 12 skill points
