There are so many fantastic innovations added to LOG2 from LOG1.
Thought I would start up something that we could share what we did find great about those innovations.

Here are some of mine:
Outdoor areas. (this gave the game such a new feeling and we still got to dungeon crawl below)
Elevations!! (this seriously gave me the feeling of such a new dimension into puzzles and feel for this genre)
The new block push puzzles! (those things when they hum are awesome and the way they were implemented was great)
Underwater and underwater utility weapons!! (how many games even 3d ones neglect water and we got it in a old school grid based game)
Non linear progression. (I have played 3 times and each time tackled the game in a different order)
Boss fights! (who doesn't love boss battles)
Enemy AI. (the added speed and intelligent dodging is sweet!)
Multitude of unique puzzles!! (sound, cipher, riddle, timing... and more)
New utility spells! (all of which can be used to add a new dimension to fights and passing obstacles)
Armor sets/ bonuses. (although not perfect a great addition)
More open ended character creation with new non traditional classes/roles. (this aspect can be refined but it is a huge step forward from LOG1)
Buried treasure and notes to uncover the treasure! (when I first found the shovel I said out loud HELL YAH!)
Sound immersion! (back in LOG1 I loved that ambient almost trancey meditative music and atmosphere and LOG2 just added more and enhanced it)
Challenge! (there are numerous enemies and puzzles that offered both suspense and challenge)
Game released and played without a hitch. (I played the game at release pre-patch. not once did I crash or find anything that stopped me from completion)
An evolution of a genre!! (My favorite games for RPG are isometric and grid based and AH has revived and evolved the genre in a beautiful way)
Obvious love for their craft!!! (it is obvious that the AH team and its contributors have great love for their creation. it shines through)

thank you
