What is trash?

Post by ecbremner »

I havent seen any other topics on this. But im having trouble discerning if there is any advantage of keeping spell scrolls for spells i now know... and unless i am wrong spears are cool with their reach and all.. but without a skill to train in them... they are also trash? Anything else just not worth keeping in your inventory?

Well, you can use the trash to weigh down pressure plates.

Unless there's a place to sell stuff - which there doesn't seem to be I'd say drop 'em. I drop all the stuff I don't need.

Well, you don't need a scroll to cast the spells. Personally I keep them 'just in case'. They don't weigh that much and can easily be stored in a container for later reference if needed. As for the spears, I totally agree with you. If you keep 1-2 spears, you don't need any more. Only other use for them is to be dropped at plates or such.

I always keep at least one spare type of every type of weapon in case I come across a puzzle requiring certain types of weapons or whatnot (I know there is such a puzzle in Eye of the Beholder somewhere).

But beside from this, yes most items are trash. But they can still serve a purpose for activating pressure plates or testing teleportation puzzles and the like. :)

Personally I like my spear, my ranged rogue in the back row has one in her off hand, and once she run's out of Shurikens she pokes them instead, works nicely. :P
