Hia, I am just up to the marble stone level and I have a problem - one of my two front line fighters has 11 points in sword, but even though they generally hit, they almost always do 0 damage. Is this a bug, or armour (noticed it with crabs and a cave troll mostly) should I start again with maces?

Those monsters are simply well armored. You need to up your damage output to be more effective.
