When you're in-game, you can scroll out in the map screen to see the island in a more general way, with the names of each place in their respective square.
Is there a way to do the same thing in a custom map?

It works the same within mods, at least when they are exported.

What do you mean? That people who will play your mod can zoom into the map? Must be able, isn't it?

It just doesn't work in the editor's preview mode. Export, exit the editor, and play as a custom dungeon.
