'Cold Blooded' should, in context, be 'Hot Blooded' if anything. Cold-blooded animals (like reptiles) are the very opposite of resistant to cold!

But if they were hot blooded you'd expect constant screaming about courage and drill-embedded rocket punches everywhere.
