i thought this was a render bug at first. my video card gets quirky when i've been making it do work all day. so i went to sleep, woke up and it's still like that. loading other maps; they appear fine.

what is happening is it's drawing blank space between each height interval. but that space doesn't affect anything other than visually. so while two consecutive ladders will have a gap between them: they player proceeds up as normal.

basically: i'm just wondering if the whole thing is garbage now.

Looks like you changed the module height of the map. Module height is the height, in meters, of one elevation level. Almost all the standard assets are built for a module height of 3 or (for the castle wallset) 4.

ah, yeah. that's it. totally forgot i was messing with that in the properties. ty for pointing that out.
