Stuck in Level 9

I don't know how to go on!
There's an iron door at the N that I don't know how to open. Apart from that, I can't see anywhere else to go. Anybody knows how to open that door? The one two tiles north of that one opened when I pulled a lever, but I haven't been able to find another lever for the one on the south. Is there something else I might be missing?

about 2 or 3 steps from that door is a hidden switch, but you'll only find an optional item in there

I don't know how I didn't find it. I searched the whole thing! Anyway, thanks!
It did open more map once I took the item (a book of infinite wisdom)

There's a scroll in the lizard area near where I'm stood on the map that uncovers a new area, looks like you haven't done that yet:

I swear I picked it up once... wrote the formula down and put it back! I also remember someone else saying the same thing in a different topic. (So for him and me the doors opened after the second try to grab the scroll)...

All 3 pedestals need to be empty for it to trigger

Go the the outer sanctum, solve the teleporter puzzle. You reach a room with 2 trap doors (one opening and closing all the time). You need more information? I think you can do the rest
