3d model weight and occluder questions

Hi guys and girls,
i'm absolutely new in 3d working, but recently i tried to "build up" a model starting from Grimrock 2 original models.
Here i start with questions:
1) my model is almost 2Mb, i guess i made something wrong or i miss something to do. So my question is "is there something i have to keep in mind exporting models? to make them not so heavy"
2) i also made occluder model, but if i use it my editor crushes exactly when i put the object with that occluder in the scene/map. Anyone can help me? Are occluder necessary or can i leave it?

For every needs here are my files: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=d ... er%2cmodel

Thank you very much.

#2. Carefully check that the definition is perfectly accurate, and error free. Typos in the asset paths can crash the editor as soon the item is placed on the map.

#1. Be aware of your model's vertex count, and any vertex and faces that exist inside it ~never shown. These are wasted operations, unless there is a deliberate plan for them. (Like modeling the inside of the mouth for when it has to open). Ideally, the model should be as lean as possible, while still having close to the appearance you intend.
