I believe you are playing with Rynulf. The rope can be found in the Grounds map, you will need to find a way to access the Grounds from the east side
Solution:
SpoilerShow
You will need the Book of Passages found on the Keep 2nd Floor. Then head to Client Housing, very top center of the map and use Passages on the bookshelf located there.

Rope usage:
SpoilerShow
The rope can be used to descend into pits or trapdoors. One such pit is in the Cemetery. You will need to click the rope item while standing next to a pit in order to go down.

There is a note that tells a little story about the Book of Passages. The note is nearby on a table where you first found the book. Basically, put the book on bookshelves and doors may open up.

the torch trick works perfect.. is there also a same way for the mortal and pestle?
and what can i do with the bolt shells and shock charges? is there a weapon later in yhe game for?

Hi hansbleeb,

The mortar and pestle is not intended to leave that room. In this mod, flasks are needed to brew potions. Flasks are reusable but there is a limited amount of them to be found. I felt that having the ability to carry around the mortar and pestle and make potions on the fly would defeat the idea.

The bolt shells and shock charges are indeed for other weapons found later in the game.

Hello

Guess what? I'm stuck again :twisted: :lol:

I finally got time to go back to your mod. I found the key of pentacles, the riddle key (used it) and a third hollowed essence but I have no clue on where I should go now...

The only two things I can see is that I'm missing a fourth essence (for the room with pedestals upstairs?) and in the laboratory how to open the bottom-left iron door.

Also, I'd like to make a comment about th glyph riddles in the lab.

Actually I did have the right answer. I've tried it but it didn't work because at that time I'ven't managed to open the secret wall yet. I found that a little bit frustrating and not very realistic since it only gives you a clue. Nice glyphs btw, where did you find them?

Hi Khollik, you are almost done with the mod !

The whole clue with the glyphs needs to be completely changed, I'm going to remove that whole secret area.

I believe I took those glyph textures from one of the tilesets from minmay's G1MP asset pack. They are on a tileset I didn't use so I had to edit them in gimp.

The bottom-left iron door:

In the Gardens, near the book pedestal is a 3x3 area with a demon statue and 3 altars. The altars are representing how the pushable blocks should be set (corresponding to the position of the demon statue) back down in the laboratory. This will open that door.
The Hollowed Essence are for the pedestals on the Keep 2nd Fl, I don't know which one you are missing, but I'm guessing its one of these:

There is a room near the throne room on the Keep 1st Fl that has 8 pedestals. You will need 4 Tenebris Orbs and 4 other items.

In Client Housing, east side, there is a room opened with the pentacle key. There are 2 notes with clues for this puzzle that hopefully you found already.
btw I started playing your mod and I am having fun with it ! I uncovered a lot of areas but left behind a lot of puzzles and riddles. Lots of stuff I have to figure out !

the one in the client housing and the other one in the chamber of the keepers. My guess is that is something related to the four demon alcoves under the cemetery, but I have the feeling I missed a note somewhere...
